82 an hour Description of Duties Operate the front desk/reception area, including answering phone calls, providing information and assisting guests, taking payments.
Follow opening and closing procedures for the respective shift.
Perform routine maintenance and installs on gaming PCs and equipment ensuring full functionality and latest, compatible software updates.
Troubleshoot for any basic system issues with technology in the arena, including gaming and audio/visual systems, broadcasting, and production technology, and work with OIT to address advanced issues.
Minimum
Qualifications Education:
Associate degree required or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
Experience:
Two years of related experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to operate gaming console and PC gaming equipment across multiple platforms.
Positive and engaging demeanor with experience in customer service.
Must be able to have a flexible schedule with shifts during weekend and night hours.
Knowledge and experience of esports games such as League of Legends, Overwatch, Rocket League, Valorant, Super Smash Bros, or similar games.
Ability to work with diverse populations including faculty, staff, students, and community members.
Computer literacy skills at an intermediate level with the demonstrated ability to utilize and apply Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as specialized software programs and computer applications.
Ability to learn and apply office practices, procedures, policies, and regulations that are essential to the position.
Preferred Qualifications & Special Considerations Knowledge of Monmouth County and its communities.
Working conditions are generally favorable.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
