We are looking for direct support professionals to make a positive difference with the Consumers in the program.
The goal of each Consumer is to learn independence, which is driven by their Behavior Support Plan.
You will work within a diverse population within the special needs community and family.

Relate with adolescents, understand what they are going through in their lives and build rapport Attend and accompany academic events, shopping, community integration, socialization skills, family reunification, and medical visits Show adolescents that they can change their lives on their own by giving them direction Use positive reinforcement and other techniques to keep adolescents on the right track Assist in teaching life skills, such as cooking, laundry, chores and cleaning Get moving and go outside to play basketball, tennis, hiking, bean bag toss and other activities Lead by example and have a positive mindset Assist youth with bathing, feeding, grooming and other daily living skills Assist with medication administration What do you need? This position requires either a High School Diploma or equivalent, or a Bachelor's Degree.
Experience working with adolescents is required.
You must have a valid driver's license in good standing.
Legacy will train you on CPR, First Aid, Nurtured Heart, Safe Crisis Management and Ukeru.
