This role involves working closely with the student, classroom teacher, and educational team to ensure the student's specific needs are met while fostering an inclusive and stimulating learning atmosphere.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for early childhood education, patience, flexibility, and a commitment to individualized student growth.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the classroom teacher and educational team to understand and implement individualized education plans and goals for the student.
Provide one-on-one support to the student during classroom activities, ensuring their active engagement and understanding of concepts.
Assist in the development and implementation of hands-on, play-based learning experiences and direct instruction that align with progressive educational principles.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting social-emotional development and empowering the student to participate fully in classroom activities.
According to the teachers ' differentiated instruction, support the student in building necessary academic skills, such as early literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving.
Monitor and document the student's progress, behavior, and challenges, communicating effectively with the classroom teacher and education team.
Encourage independence and self-advocacy skills in the student, promoting their confidence and self-esteem.
Collaborate with faculty and team members to share strategies and resources, ensuring a cohesive approach to student support.
Qualifications:
An associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (a High school diploma with years of related experience will be considered).
RBT/ABA Certification A Plus Prior experience working with young children, preferably in an early childhood or special education setting.
Familiarity with progressive and hands-on educational approaches, such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or project-based learning.
Knowledge of early childhood development, including social-emotional, cognitive, and physical domains.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to establish rapport with young students.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers and other staff members.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the ever-changing needs of the student.
Strong organizational skills to document and track student progress effectively.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
